Walker’s Legacy Partners with Give1Project for Senegal Women’s Leadership Conference

Call for Women in Business and Female Entrepreneurs to Present and Attend Dakar Summit

Washington, DC — Walker’s Legacy is calling for a maximum of five female entrepreneurs interested in assisting in the creation of enterprising global leaders in partnership with Give1’s Women Empowerment Network. The Women’s Leadership Conference will be March 22-30, 9 days and 8nights in Dakar, Senegal and designed to build global leaders among the women of Africa.

The Women’s Leadership Conference will afford attendees an opportunity to experience and be empowered by the West African culture in its entirety. The program will include a number of panels including the State of Affairs for Women in Africa, Investing in Africa and Women Leadership, among others.

Through the partnership, Walker’s Legacy will select five (5) women to participate in the conference as featured speakers to conduct training on topics of entrepreneurship and business for attendees.

To submit your interest in serving as a featured speaker for the Senegal Women’s Leadership Conference click here. Speakers must have demonstrated expertise in one of all of the following areas:

  • Business Planning 101
  • Finance for Start-up and Micro-Enterprises
  • Marketing & Communications for Small Businesses (Social Media, Public Relationships and Communications)
  • Strategic Business Growth (Franchising, Sales Models)
  • The Entrepreneurial Mindset

Speaker selections will be made by January 31, 2014.

Women and men interested in attending the conference as general participants can submit their confirmation by completing the following conference registration form.

Please note that a $500.00 security deposit is due by February 7, 2014 for speakers and participants to confirm your placement. Final payment must be made by February 15, 2014. Total costs are $2,490 for double, $2,900 single.  Please note, speakers receive a 10% discount on conference registration.  Click here for the complete program itinerary.
