Walker’s Legacy Foundation Welcomes 40 Mompreneurs For Our Moms Who Enterprise Program

Walker’s Legacy Foundation will launch its ‘Moms Who Enterprise’ program on Saturday, May 9, 2020, in advance of Mother’s Day. Moms Who Enterprise is a free 8-week online program designed to develop financial and entrepreneurship skills for DC and Rochester residents, pregnant or parenting, currently looking to take their businesses to the next level. The two programs will run simultaneously in their respective cities.

“Walker’s Legacy Foundation was created in 2016 to help low-income, multicultural women fulfill their entrepreneurial destinies,” said Natalie Madeira Cofield, Founder & CEO of Walker’s Legacy Foundation. “Whether it be the beautician working out of her house, the mother maintaining her online boutique, or the caterer cooking from her home kitchen, Moms Who Enterprise seeks women with dynamic ideas and talents that have the potential to flourish as a business, yet may lack the resources, networks, and connections to formalize their enterprises.”

The program will launch virtually on Saturday, May 9, 2020, in advance of Mother’s Day and will culminate with a graduation ceremony on Saturday, June 27, 2020.
