Walker’s Legacy is a fast-growing socially missioned organization focused on empowering women through business and entrepreneurship. We’re looking for a dynamic candidate to join our team, to help us scale, expand, and grow our work.
Reporting to the Trust Board, the President and Chief Operating Officer will play a key role in overall management, strategic expansion, and operational responsibility for Walker’s Legacy, its programs, expansion, team, and execution of the organization’s mission. S/he will be responsible for maintaining and developing an in-depth knowledge of the organization, its core programs, operations, and business growth goals.
The ideal candidate will have experience in strategic partnerships, fundraising, program planning and execution, administration and operations, marketing and communications, and managing small but productive teams.
In many instances, the President and COO will serve as ‘the face’ of Walker’s Legacy with external parties, external events, and our national network of partners and supporters.
With input from the board, the President and COO will be responsible for managing and growing our team, relationships, programming, and offerings.

The President & COO will work closely with the national team and stakeholders to set and implement the organization’s strategic vision, leading business operations, including supporting the establishment of new business verticals, contracts, and opportunities for the organization.
The President & COO will also serve on the Advisory Board of the Walker’s Legacy Foundation.
