Support Professional and Enterprising Black and Brown Women: Join our Coalition to 100 Corporations

Support Black & Brown Women Leadership: Join our Coalition to 100 Corporations

The current state of our nation has further highlighted the imminent need for the development and advancement of professional and business supports for women of color.  More specifically:

  • African American and Hispanic female-owned businesses are the fastest-growing entrepreneurial segment in the country, growing 258 percent between 2007 and 2013
  • Black women-owned businesses earned an average $24,000 per firm vs. $142,900 among all women-owned businesses. The largest revenue gap of any minority group.
  • Black women make up the most educated segment of the U.S., representing the highest percentage of college enrollees than any other race or gender, yet lowest paid
  • 62 percent of women of color cited the lack of an influential mentor or sponsor as a barrier to advancement vs. 39 percent for their white female colleagues.

This is why we are asking for your support to join us as we establish the Coalition to 100.

The Coalition to 100 is a call for 100 companies from across the country to join our growing network and in-turn aid us in our mission to establish a path for black and brown women entrepreneurs to gain the skills, resources, networks, and support necessary to succeed in business.

We look forward to your partnership during this critical moment in our nation.
