Our Commitment to Multicultural Women Entrepreneurs.
$4,000 in grants.
The global impacts of COVID-19 are undeniable. As small businesses across the nation work to understand the short and long term implications on business operations, Walker’s Legacy (WL) is determined to provide a voice for the fastest growing entrepreneurial segment in the nation: multicultural women in business. As part of our continued commitment to elevating minority women-owned small businesses that have been impacted bye COVID-19, Walker’s Legacy invited multicultural women small business owners across the United States to apply for the Walker’s Legacy Covid Relief Micro Grant through our COVID-10 Impact Survey; the only survey conducted by minority women small business owners, for minority women small business owners.
After over one thousand responses to our survey, Walker’s Legacy is proud to announce the eight recipients of our COVID-19 Relief Micro-Grants sponsored by Gates Foundation.
These eight businesswomen of color reflect the essence of Walker’s Legacy. Together, we will continue to engage, uplift, and inspire our community.
