The global collective for women in business will premiere a mobile application for members to participate in programs virtually, receive daily motivation, and have access to a number of resources and news.
Walker’s Legacy, a professional collective for multicultural women in business and entrepreneurship, is excited to launch a mobile application geared towards facilitating an e-learning experience for its members. Walker’s Legacy aims to provide programming, experiences, and resources to help minority women navigate through the business world and the Walker’s Legacy Foundation learning app is one of the ways they are aiming to do so.
Users will have access to all of the resources Walker’s Legacy and Walker’s Legacy Foundation has to offer, all at their fingertips. The app also utilizes social media to keep members connected by logging in via Facebook, Google, or their own email address. The e-learning mobile application allows members to access the collective’s programs on-the-go such as PROSPECTUS, an accelerated online entrepreneurship training program; or the upcoming Mom’s Who Hustle, a financial planning and entrepreneurship program for millennial moms.
The new application will facilitate the “one-week-on/one-week-off” learning model for the Mom’s Who Hustle program where classes will be scheduled on-site one week and via the free e-learning mobile app. The app also features progress updates, a messaging feature, daily motivational quotes from women of color, and unlimited resources, tips, and news.
With this new e-learning tool, Walker’s Legacy and the Walker’s Legacy Foundation grants access to education from virtually anywhere. This app connects like-minded business women striving to empower and equip themselves through their programs. The free application can be downloaded in the iPhone App Store here and Android Google Play Store here.
