Walker’s Legacy Welcomes New AmeriCorps VISTA: Rachel Wertz
Washington, DC —June 12, 2020— Walker’s Legacy is pleased to announce the onboarding of Rachel Wertz who has joined the organization as an AmeriCorps VISTA Eco-System Entrepreneurship Research and Best Practices Support Analyst.
Wertz will assist the company with research, impact reporting, program evaluation support and planning content development, and public relations for various projects the organization leads to support professional women of color.

Wertz is a recent graduate of The American University of Rome with her Bachelors of Arts in Communication and a double minor in English Writing and Digital Design. She is a born and raised military dependent who has spent the last nine years of her life living in South Korea, Germany, Italy, and the United Kingdom. For the past year, she worked as a Marketing and Communications Assistant in the tourism sector in Rome, Italy.
