Put Your Money Where Your Mouth Is: Zaneilia Harris

Your Most Expensive Asset is Yourself

In a survey put out by the CFP Board Center for Financial Planning, it was discovered that less than 3.5% of all the 80,000 Certified Financial Planners (CFPs) in the United States are black or Latino. The lack of minorities in these roles can effect wealth in the black community. Luckily for black women in the DMV area, they have their superwoman. Zaneilia Harris is her name, and helping women make healthy financial choices at every major life step is her game.

A Wealth of Knowlege So You’ll Never Go Broke

With over 20 years of experience in the financial and accounting field, it’s safe to say that Zaneilia Harris has a wealth of knowledge on wealth management so her clients are in good counsel. If that isn’t reassuring enough, Harris has been featured in the Wall Street Journal, CNBC, US News & World Report, Forbes, Essence, Black Enterprise, and countless other publications as well as recognized as a Top 100 Influential Financial Advisors, a Maryland’s Top 100 Women Honoree, as well as a CNBC Digital Financial Advisor Council, so her resume speaks for itself. Zaneilia Harris is the President of Haris & Harris Wealth Management Group, LLC. Through her role, she allows her passion for empowering women in executive and professional roles to help her provide financial guidance while they undergo major life events such as marriage, divorce, and widowhood, allowing them to stay on track with personal goals. When working with Zaneilia, her clients know they have more than a financial advisor but a sister who cares about their best interests.

The Woman Behind It All

Aside from being the President of Haris & Harris Wealth Management Group, LLC., Zaneilia Harris is a wife, entrepreneur, and mother, which helps her better understand her clients, as she is who she serves. She is also a shoe fanatic, which in fact is part of the powering factor behind her book, Finance ‘n Stilettos: Money Matter for the Well Heeled Woman. She is also a blogger, who gives great advice and tips for those who are not quite sure if they are ready for a financial advisor.
