Walker’s Legacy, a global platform for the professional and entrepreneurial multicultural woman, is proud to announce that nominations are now open for its annual Power Awards.
The Walker’s Legacy Power Awards is part of a national effort by the organization to recognize the achievements of notable business and community leaders. Our annual recognition celebrates 150 multicultural women leaders across the nation who comprise our national #WLPower150 and have thrived in an array of industries including business, entrepreneurship, media, technology, real estate, and more.
In prior years, Walker’s Legacy has honored 150 women through our local #WLPower15 awards in celebrations conducted in each of our chapter cities. This year, the organization will be unveiling its honorees through an editorial list and digital celebration.
Past Honorees have included Keisha Bottoms, Mayor of Atlanta; Stacey Abrams, politician, and lawyer; Rocio Gonzalez, Executive Director Latin American Chamber of Commerce Charlotte; Deidre Mathis, CEO Wanderstay Hotels; and Melissa Yee, Founder & CEO The Green Program.
Join us in celebrating the achievements of multicultural women business leaders.
