Walker’s Legacy, a global platform for the professional and entrepreneurial multicultural woman, hosted a Mimosas & Movemakers Networking Reception at MakeOffices in Philadelphia. The reception provided an atmosphere for a collective exchange of great information from some of Philadelphia’s most inspiring executives, business owners, startups and career professionals making a phenomenal impact on our communities.
“It was exciting to see the engagement of great connections being made to cultivate key relationships, expand opportunities and advance professional and entrepreneurial goals,” said Tamika Taylor, Walker’s Legacy Philadelphia City Director.
Among the attendees included Sulaiman Rahman, CEO of DiverseForce who has had an amazing career engaging, developing and connecting the next generation of diverse and civic leaders; as well as Stephanie Humphrey, an on-air tech contributor to Good Day Philadelphia where she has delivered tech news since 2012.
A special thank you to David Simons, CEO of Kingdom Social Media who was our venue host sponsor. He shared very empowering words of wisdom to attendees to always remember to “share your gift with the world”. Also, there to support and provide tools and resources for aspiring and established business owners was Mary Livingston, SCORE Philadelphia Chapter President.
